Inspired by the marshes and waterways around Edisto Island, South Carolina, I have been playing with the textures, light and color of the region.

This piece was created with artists' quality colored pencils on acid free Rising Museum board. It is initialed on the front and signed on the back. It comes in a white 11 x 14 inch mat, ready to frame.

This is a lovely, soft piece. I adore marshes. I did a whole series of very large marsh paintings last year and sold them all. Now that I'm moving back to New England right beside a marsh I wish I would have kept one! I guess I'll be painting more of them.

I followed you here from Waterblossoms. I noticed you have a tri-colored Corgi. You may want to read my post, "Regarding Mimi."
